Historical timeline

Below is a historical timeline of Sudan with emphasis placed on Southern Sudan issues. Information comes from audio, video, and textual news articles, report releases, on-the-ground testimonials and any other relevant topic that helps us better understand the situation in Southern Sudan

I started adding regular updates in the fall of 2009 and continue to move forward as they unfold. I am also researching backwards to complete the back end of the history. This timeline is updated frequently and with enthusiasm to capture Southern Sudan’s narrtive as it unfolds during this important juncture in its history.

Presently, I am the only one who can update the timeline. If you have events that you would like to add to the timeline, please let me know. If you have sources for events in the past that would help complete the timeline, I would appreciate knowing about them and adding them to the timeline.
